As you can see, traditions are important. They are our roots, which give us stability and a sense of belonging. If you are starting out a new family, you may be trying to create your own traditions. Maybe taking a little from your family and a little from your partners family. Or you may want to create some brand new ones.
You might think that you will remember your traditions from year to year, but you may not. It’s best to write things down so you can refer back to them as you plan the next year. You can also make notes of what worked and what didn’t work for the upcoming years.
