For my son’s birthday he wanted a birthday party inspired by his favorite YouTube show: Good Mythical Morning. Yes, we idolize Rhett and Link.
I got to work making some party printables. Pretty soon we had a Happy Birthday sign, a few signs for Will It? games, and a Dink it & Sink it sign. Then we added some Wheel of Birthdaycality candy bar wrappers, some drink wrappers, and a few other odds and ends. Oh, and my personal favorite: the “fricks” holding up the birthday banner.
See the whole party and read about our adventures below. Don’t forget to grab your free GMM party printables at the end. If you want any personalization done, head over to our Etsy shop.
Soda bottles with “Dink It and Sink It” wrappers.
This is one of my favorite elements of the party. This is a semi-naked Link-inspired cake. Also, if you look at the birthday banner at the top it is being held up by “fricks”.
In honor of the cereal love of Link, we had individual boxes of cereal for the kids to take home.
Wheel of Birthdaycality chocolate bar wrappers.
There is always time to Dink it & Sink it.
Lollipops for the “Guess the Flavor of the Lolli” game. The kids were blindfolded and each had a sucker of the same flavor. They licked it and then had a few seconds to decide what flavor it was. We counted to three and they called out the name of the flavor. It was a bit harder than we thought it would be!
See the Oreos in our own Wheel of Mythicality serving tray? What fun!
Good Mythical Morning Inspired “Happy Birthday” sign. You can get the generic sign to print with just “Happy Birthday” at the bottom of the post, or head over to our Etsy shop for customization.
Will it Donut? set-up and sign. This was one game that we didn’t do the blindfolds. The kids did 3 Will it Donut taste tests: donuts topped with peas, donuts topped with cheddar cheese, and our most adventurous–donuts topped with anchovies in mustard sauce.
They decided that they always want to eat their peas by way of donuts, that cheesy donuts are okay, and that they don’t ever want to eat anchovies again.

And remember, we don’t own, or claim to own any of the tag-lines from this GMM-inspired post. All of that awesomeness goes to Rhett and Link.
